What is Journey?
So Journey is the leading preventative mental health platform, which means we help to proactively keep employees mentally and emotionally fit before they burn out and turn over. At our core, we focus on two main things. The first is gonna be providing tools, resources, and support to help employees navigate both work and life. And second, we work with HR to shift the culture of the organization so that employees feel seen, psychologically safe, and taking care of their mental health. We work with a wide range of companies, all the way from Walgreens, L'Oreal, and Sony, to small but mighty organizations like the Harlem Children's Zone and the Anti-Defamation League. Our target client is over 1000 lives, and we currently work on a PEPM rate.
How is Journey different?
Everything we do is rooted in three principles. So the first is gonna be that live learning and peer support. So having a teacher you can interact with and actually having support of people like you is critical when it comes to developing good mental health. Additionally, representation is a non negotiable when it comes to achieving our mission of helping all people live happier, healthier, less stressed lives. So we provide inclusive content for all employees that's accessible to different learning styles, taught by a diverse expert population with over 50% of our instructors being people of color. Secondly, we believe that productivity is important, even if its small day-to-day practice is critical to avoiding big long-term issues, just like brushing your teeth. Third. We've learned over the last seven years that simply providing employees with tools to use on their own is not enough. The culture has to support mental health. So we help build that foundation, as well. And then of course, as a result of our relentless commitment to these principles, we drive best-in-class engagement for our clients, and deliver unmatched ROI.
Who is a good fit for Journey?
Our target organization understands that there's a gap in mental health support that they're providing their employees. They recognize that providing behavioral health options via the medical plan and EAP are great, but they're not enough. Their employees are struggling with day-to-day management of work and life, and they need more tools, resources, and support.
