What is ACS Benefit Services?
Well, Chris, we are a top-shelf, old-fashioned TPA for healthcare services. We pride ourselves on doing things the right way. We provide the Cigna PPO on a national level and we're headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
How is ACS Benefit Services different?
Well, really, it's all about transparency and control. A few examples on our level funded product, we allow the group to retain 100% of the unused claims fund, whether they renew with us or not. Typically with the carriers, you know, on the level-funded platform, you're only able to retain maybe 50%, so we've got a real leg-up in that aspect. Also, we allow for PBM carve-out, whether the group or the broker, you know, if they haven't looked at this yet, there's tremendous, tremendous savings that could be found just by peeling back the curtain on the PBM side, and we allow for that carve-out on level-funded cases down to 25 employees enrolled. Also, intrinsic in our value proposition, we never auto-adjudicate hospital claims or claims within the first six months of a new client. You know, the BCAs are auto-adjudicating, automatically paying 90% of claims without reviewing them at all. We take a closer look, we pride ourselves on the service that we provide and the expertise that we bring to the table.
Who is a good fit for ACS Benefit Services?
You know, our sweet spot is, you know, 101 employees up to about 1,500, but there's no cap on the size solution we can provide. You know, we wanna find those large, fully insured cases that want to transition smoothly from level-funded eventually to self-funded. And for those cases that are currently level-funded on a carrier chassis like an All Savers or Aetna level-funded, we can, you know, peel back some of the layers of the onion, provide some more interesting solutions and generate some more savings, typically against those platforms. And for those cases that are already, you know, fully self-funded, we can start to look at captive solutions as well as reference-based pricing.
