What is MedWatch?

At MedWatch, what we do is, you know how employers are sometimes desperate to keep healthcare costs down and employees don't know how to find better care. Stop-loss always wants better insight into large claims, and advisors are in the middle trying to make everyone happy. Well, what we do is manage both clinical and financial risk. We do that with our Triple URAC-accredited utilization, case, and disease management programs. We're a medical management and cost containment company that impacts cost and quality for all types of plans from PPO to reference-based pricing, from traditional self-funding to alternative plan structures, and we layer in white glove customer advocacy to direct care and provide a superior member experience.

How is MedWatch different?

Having been started by an MGU 37 years ago; we are hyper-focused on cost-savings and robust-reporting. Our constant innovation results in our clients saving even more and getting better healthcare like when we assist our members in applying for clinical trials, giving them renewed hope, while removing large claims from the plan, or when we find therapeutic alternatives for high-cost drugs. And it all comes down to proactive healthcare advocacy, making sure our members are directed to the right healthcare for their situation and are protected from inappropriate treatments. Then following through to advocate for the members every step of the way, our clinicians are experienced and specialized so they can make a greater impact.
