What is ClaimDOC?

Yeah, so ClaimDOC is a reference-based pricing organization. We partner with self-funded clients to emphasize access to provider care. We audit all claims over $2,000, and we're also in the business of building long-term partnerships with our provider partners. So if you look at our footprint by the numbers here, we process claims in all 50 states. We've processed 1.1 million reference-based pricing claims since our inception in 2012. And in the last year alone, we had 21,786 providers nominated to work with our plan. And of those providers, 95.8% of them said yes, they would take our reference-based pricing plan. We have a 88% client retention, which is a great stat for reference-based pricing. And in our organization we have over 145 full-time employees.

How is ClaimDOC different?

So I like to use the analogy that when you're looking at reference-based pricing vendors, it's like comparing apples to oranges, to bananas, to blueberries, to raspberries. But what makes us different, number one, we're centralized in a single location. We don't have different parts of our operation all over the country. We're in Des Moines, Iowa. We audit claims all the way down to $2,000, which means we're getting way down in the weeds compared to our competitors. We have a provider relations team, led by a former hospital administrator, which means we're building a better bridge with our providers than our competitors. We have in-house advocacy. We're not retailing it out, or suggesting that someone else do that. And we also serve as co-fiduciary for our clients, which means that they have legal support of in-house counsel that works with each of our clients on legal issues if and when they arise. Another differentiator is our Pave the Way process, which involves us reaching out to providers proactively before the start of the plan year, so that we're able to build that bridge, and pave the way in advance. And finally, we are family owned with zero debt, not by private equity or venture capital.

Who is a good fit for ClaimDOC?

Yeah. Any organization that is self-funded with over a hundred employee lives on the plan is a good fit to talk to us. We have clients all over the spectrum in terms of industries. So we have manufacturing clients, mortgage firms, food service. We have tech companies, trucking companies, Software as a Service companies. So, we do fit in lots of different types of industries, different types of organizations, for profit, municipalities, so on and so forth. So if you have a client that is self-funded, that's seeking a better solution with a really high touch feeling, ClaimDOC is a good fit for them to investigate.
