What is Compt?
Compt is a lifestyle benefits platform that was designed to simplify the experience for both the employees and the admin by offering an easy-to-use and tax-compliant solution for stipends, expense management, as well as rewards and recognition. We use a unique reimbursement model here at Compt, which allows our clients to offer personalized stipends across 27 different categories, all while ensuring that everything stays tax-compliant so our clients can support employees in their journeys of wellness, continuing education, or just everyday family expenses. Our platform can also support multiple different programs for a single employer, enabling our clients to offer flexible programs that span across stipends, as well as recognition, so whether it is wanting to automate bonuses for birthdays and working anniversaries or designing a thoughtful peer-to-peer program, our admins have complete control of their budget and eligibility for each bucket of money.
How is Compt different?
The biggest difference in Compt and the other vendors on the market is going to be the approach we take to offering these stipends as well as how we manage the money. So by supporting categories instead of only promoting affiliated vendors, the employees on our platform have the flexibility to spend their dollars at local businesses and big brands alike, and since we manage the funds in a reimbursement flow through payroll, we're able to account for the taxation at the time of the reimbursement versus relying on after-the-fact manual processes, like many of our competitors do. The flexibility of our model also means that we're able to fully support really unique workforces, so we have employees in all 50 states as well as over 70 countries, and this is made easy, since we don't have limitations of card processors or vendor accessibility, and I think the biggest difference that's worth noting is our utilization rate. So we boast 93% utilization across the last six years, so when HR teams are looking to make an investment into programs and platforms that will pay off, it's important to note that we're going to have the highest engagement amongst the benefits they're offering to their teams.
Who is a good fit for Compt?
Yeah, so we're a really adaptable platform, which means that we're ideal for companies of all shapes and sizes, from 5 to 15,000 employees, whether that's a fast-growth startup or an established enterprise. As long as they have a US entity, we can support their people all across the US or anywhere in the globe, and I think what's most important is that they're looking to build a culture of trust and connection and appreciation for their staff.
