What is Luna?
Luna is physical therapy delivered. We provide high quality physical therapy in person to the patient at their home or workplace. And we're the only provider of on-demand outpatient physical therapy in the country. Luna's available today in 42 major Metro markets and we're quickly growing to 60 by the end of the year. Today we have over 2000 highly skilled Luna PTs on our platform, and we're growing to 4,000 by January. They have an average of 10 years of experience and more than half hold a doctorate in physical therapy.
How is Luna different?
So, Luna is not virtual MSK and we are not brick-and-mortar PT clinic. We deliver real in person physical therapy to patients where they are. Mostly at the home, but we can also provide service at an employer site. So here's some interesting data. 70% of patients give up on their therapy at the clinic because of inconvenience and lack of results. 87% of cases treated in an outpatient clinic don't actually need a facility, and then 90% of patients choose at home PT versus brick-and-mortar clinics when the option is available to them. Luna has a net promoter score of 85 with patients and then our therapists, and these are unprecedented numbers within healthcare. Patients love Luna because we're accessible, we're affordable, we're convenient, and we enable exceptional care. Accessible means that we meet the patient where they are and we see a patient within about 48 hours of referral. Affordable means there are no extra charges for Luna, it's billed through insurance, just like an outpatient PT clinic. We can also set a fixed fee for value based care bundles. Convenient means that we're open 361 days a year, seven days a week, and we provide service from 6:30 in the morning to 9:30 PM. So extremely convenient for the patient. Exceptional care means the patient receives 45 to 55 minutes of dedicated one-on-one time with a licensed physical therapist, and we have a 50% higher adherence rate than brick-and-mortar clinics.
Who is a good fit for Luna?
So, Luna partners with organizations who are looking to produce measurable MSK outcomes. This includes, health systems, self-insured employers, TPA's, workers comp carriers, payers, care navigators, and we're actively seeking progressive partners looking to change the way healthcare is delivered. So come and join us.
