So, WoW Health closes the gap in the delivery of healthcare. Statistically, people under the age of 65, 9 out of 10 healthcare events take place in the outpatient setting. People are going for an office visit, getting their blood pressure medication, seeing a dentist. All of that care is paid out-of-pocket regardless if someone does or does not have insurance, right? 'Cause even with insurance, you have copays, deductibles, coinsurances. When you add all of those costs, you realize that you've paid actually more than someone who was paying direct or was a cash pay. So we bring transparency, control, and savings to the consumer.
How is WoW Health different?
So there are at least three things that set us apart, right? First, WoW Health is a true blend of virtual and in-person care. Not all care can be obtained virtually. Not every episode of care requires an in-person visit. We bring access to a complete continuum of healthcare from doctor visits, labs, imaging, pharmacy services, all from one simple login. Second, we are a membership model, right? So WoW Health is not an insurance plan. So it can be a standalone solution or be a perfect supplement to an existing health plan, providing some zero-cost access for routine care and decreasing the out-of-pocket burden for employees. And third, WoW Health is a software company, right? So we are really good at customizing our proprietary platform for unique and branded experience for our clients and their employees, usually in under a week.
