What is Healthpilot?
Navigating Medicare is hard for everyone. Hundreds of plan options, confusing trade-offs, and decisions with lifelong financial impact. 10,000 employees turn 65 every day and half of employers offer no transition help. So employees end up guessing, relying on biased brokers, or using a tool that only compares premiums, or they just delay enrolling and stay in your group plan, which puts the cost on your business. Healthpilot fixes that. We're an AI-powered Medicare guidance and enrollment platform built on JetEngine AI developed by Dr. Jonathan Kolstad of UC Berkeley Haas. It looks at each member's doctors, prescriptions, conditions, and budgets to generate a personalized Plan Fit score that models real cost. Employees can compare plans side by side and enroll online or by phone with a licensed agent, all at no cost to your employees or your business.
How is Healthpilot different?
Most competitors run on outdated technology and traditional brokers earn different commissions per plan. So the incentive is to sell, not to match. JetEngine AI is generations ahead, built on a real needs assessment that models actual cost. The results, seven times more accurate than Medicare.gov. Members save $1,052 a year on average switching Medicare Advantage plans, and employers save about $7,833 for every Medicare-eligible employee who moves off the group plan. Our advisors are W-2, salaried, licensed in all 50 states, and paid the same regardless of which plan someone picks. We're independent across about 75% of carriers and we don't disappear after enrollment. We do an annual plan checkup and offer year-round support so employees always have help when they need it.
Who is a good fit for Healthpilot?
We're a great fit for two different groups. First, self-insured employers with a large Medicare-eligible population who doesn't want HR handling Medicare and who want to cut costs by moving people onto the right individual plan. That's worth about $8,000 per employee per year, at no cost to you while taking the education and compliance burden off of HR. Second, brokers and benefits consultants who want a real Medicare solution without building it in-house. We can be the Medicare arm of your practice. With W-2, non-commissioned advisors, there's no steering risk under your name. Plus real savings reporting, Plan Fit score comparisons, and a 4.8-star Trustpilot rating with 85% retention. Both get a dedicated account manager and co-branded materials live in just a few weeks.
