ZERO Health

Employers work hard to offer great health coverage, but not everyone can afford to use it. How do we eliminate economic barriers to care?

What is ZERO Health?

Yeah, so let me paint a picture for folks and imagine that you are an HR leader or a CFO and you've done everything you can possibly do to offer great coverage with BUCA, so BCBS, United, Cigna, Aetna, or others, but you know that you still have families, especially with inflation, that work for you that can't afford deductibles and copays. So we don't replace BUCA, rather employers add us as another care option for their employees. So we direct contract with local providers and doctors for 44 different categories of scheduled care.

How is ZERO Health different?

Three ways, so number one, we make it frictionless and easy to set up. We can add ZERO to your current benefit plan in a few weeks. Second, and most importantly, using ZERO is easy. Listen, getting care is still complicated, and I know firsthand, I tore my meniscus this summer and I had to schedule seven separate appointments, and not once did I know how much it would cost. So with ZERO, the employer or their family member calls our personal health assistant, and they essentially act as a concierge the entire way. And employees always know the price, it's not gonna cost them anything. And then, last way we're different, no PEPM. Employers and brokers have told us they have PEPM fatigue, and our financial model is simple. We only make money when somebody uses our pricing and saves dollars for their employees.

Who is a good fit for ZERO Health?

Not everyone for sure. We're not for every plan design or every employer. But when we are a fit, we're usually a great fit. First off, an employer must be self-funded, and we work with companies that have at least 250 employees, plus dependents, on their plan. Second, we have a nationwide footprint, and our best results come in these areas, so you see in pink, Greater Chicago, Kansas City, major metro Texas, though we're getting really good in West Texas too, anywhere on the front range in Colorado, and then the Greater Phoenix area too. And last, like we're a great fit for some plan designs and a terrible fit for others. You can usually assess that with a few simple questions in conversation with you. And to learn more, Chris will help you out with that.
