What is Torchlight?
Torchlight is the preeminent parenting and caregiving solution in the US. We've been in business for over 14 years. We have a model that's digital-first, 24/7/365, very comprehensive, with human backend support. Unique to the solution, starting on May 1st, we have concierge support also added, so we not only have specialized advising but concierge as well. Also, we have a self-assessment tool for the caregivers themselves, so they can look in the mirror as they progress along their caregiving journey.
How is Torchlight different?
We're different in a number of ways. One of the first advantages of Torchlight is their personal resources. A comprehensive digital library that has over 500 topic areas allows for the curation per caregiver so each individual caregiver can have a curated journey just for them. Having concierge services as an addition to the human backend support also allows the employer, in a unique way, to address some of their challenges. With the concierge services, if they just need to find five assisted living facilities for their mother-in-law, we can do that, and we can do all of the work for them. So you basically have care coordination on the navigation side, but if you have a question because your mother-in-law is being a little quirky and you wanted to see if maybe there's onset dementia in play here, we want to make sure that you're talking to someone who is an expert, who is specialized and disciplined in the area of expertise, so our experts are highly credentialed. They work in those areas so they can help in that way. And then, of course, I mentioned self-assessment. The tool's really for caregivers to look in the mirror at themselves because caregivers don't really do a great job of that. And then of course we are guided by all federal, state, and local laws. We update them regularly so that we are current with all regulations, and we recently added in Canada as well, so we're fully French.
Who is a good fit for Torchlight?
From an employee standpoint, anyone who is a caregiver. If you're dealing, as a parent, with bullying or peer pressure or you have behavioral challenges or maybe you have an aging loved one who is getting scammed or just needs some financial assistance, anyone and everyone. From an organizational standpoint, we have a minimum $500 a month for small organizations, but we work with mid-market all the way to jumbo and all verticals. Whether financial, tech, retail, construction, unions, or health plans, we work with them all.
