What is BBP Admin?
Yeah, so BBP Admin is a third-party administrator. We were established in 1977. We administer COBRA, state continuation, and direct billing. In addition to COBRA, we do administer FMLA, state leave, and ADA. This has really grown, as there has been a lot of compliance changes since COVID. We also do administer pre-tax services, like FSA, HSA, HRA, and commuter benefits. In addition to pre-tax services, we do administer lifestyle and specialty plans, and then lastly, we do administer a lot of compliance services, things like 5500, wrap documents, ACA reporting, et cetera.
How is BBP Admin different?
Yeah, so we've grown organically for almost 50 years. We find that there has been a lot of consolidation within this industry, and typically, that really hinders customer service. With BBP Admin, you do have direct contact. You have direct access to their phone and email to someone that's been in this field for a long time, and you do have the ability to establish file feeds with various HRIS and payroll platforms. This results in simple implementation, and over the life of the plan year, all of that information is feeding over to our system, reducing a lot of that duplicate data entry. We do also offer competitive pricing and willing to work with you, as we don't like to lose groups by just a couple nickels. We have really invested a lot of time into a lot of our services. For example, our HSA services do now come with diverse and abundant investment options, so you can buy partial shares of stocks like Amazon, for example. You can also take those funds and invest them in high-yield options if investing into the stock market is not something of your choosing.
Who is a good fit for BBP Admin?
We service groups nationwide and have employees nationwide. We service groups from employee size 2 to 2,500. However, we do service groups much larger than that as well. Those that are looking for relief from constant customer service issues, BBP Admin is a great fit with our personalized customer service approach, and we do administration for clients ranging from maybe just their COBRA administration to a whole suite of services that we administer, and then lastly, just peace of mind with compliance needs.
