What is EHIM?
EHIM Powered by ProCare, is a National Pharmacy Benefit Manager. We have been servicing millions of lives for more than three decades.
How is EHIM different?
EHIM is different because of many different factors. First and foremost, the length of time many of our employees have worked for our PBM. In an industry where it seems like competitors pop up almost every week out of nowhere, EHIM has been tried and true servicing, again, more than 3 million members for more than 30 years. I, myself, have worked for the company for more than 24 years. So again, that to us says something and is very different. Additionally, what we're most proud of is EHIM is what is considered to be a direct-source PBM, and this is because of our parent company and owner, ProCare. By being powered by ProCare, it is the best access to system software a PBM can have, meaning our clients also have that direct access. Additionally, all services provided by EHIM are done in-house. This includes specialty drug program, specialty drug management programs, which we pioneered, international coordination, where we process the claims on our own system, no need for multiple reports, as well as, you know, the direct source of data. We have a true instantaneous data system because, again, it is our own platform that our brokers, third-party administrators, health plans, and of course, approved HIPAA-compliant individuals are able to log in and see scripts the minute they're processed.
Who is a good fit for EHIM?
I would say anybody in the self-funded employer space, captives, third-party administrators, level-funded health plans, really with one condition: They want to save money and manage the overall trend of their pharmacy benefits. We are more than just a PBM. We want to be a partner.
